MELA Meeting Minutes 2003 - 2017

i. Nancy Parkerson and Alan Kinsey presented on the OLC: Innovate Conference in New Orleans, LA. The conference was a great place for networking, summits, vendors, live sessions, and contests. Nancy and Alan were really pleased, and commented on the great location and snacks. There were not many cons at all – only session titles were misleading, and the keynotes were during mealtimes so attendees were a bit distracted.

d. State-to-State Proctor Meeting i.

Jennifer James (Hinds) and Tracy Smith (PRCC) would like to have a face-to-face proctor meeting. This meeting would be a time where proctors can meet to discuss best practices, and issues with RegisterBlast and SmarterProctoring. 1. Many in the group agreed this meeting would be very beneficial. 2. Jennifer James will head up the meeting and get a date set.
