MSVCC Academy – Brooke Doggett

1. Turnitin Admin Training – July 12 at 12:30 pm 2. Turnitin Instructor Training – two sessions coming in September. Refer to Brooke’s email for specific dates, times, and calendar invites.

MCCB – Chris Ryals

1. 2017 MILD Grant Followup Reminder (Due July 14) a. Chris is missing MILD followups for five schools. Chris will send an email to those schools as a reminder. 2. ET Attendance Tool Updates a. The processes currently in place in the new ET Attendance piece, meet audit standards according to Raul. i. Raul will pull audit information from the ET into EARS. b. Chris did not receive feedback from colleges about SIS data fields as requested in last 3. Web Conferencing RFP Updates a. A vendor was selected for RFP, but has not been notified yet. By the end of the day tomorrow (Thursday, July 13) the vendor will be revealed to the public. b. Academy course and training webinar links will not be created for Fall until the new vendor is revealed, and new logins are created. 4. Issue with Purging ET Instructors a. Chris reminded the group to be careful when deleting an instructor and/or users from the Enrollment Tool. i. If you need to delete an instructor from the ET, do it within the ET Security tab, not the Instructor tab. month’s meeting. Please talk with your college IT departments and submit this information to Chris if you plan to import into your SIS. Chris welcomed having a conference call with colleges’ IT departments if needed.

ii. If you delete the instructor from the Instructor tab, the course and everything tied to that instructor will be deleted and you will not be able to retrieve data later. iii. If you delete the instructor from the Security Tab, the instructor will not be able to access the ET any longer.

MCCB – Shalon Farris

1. Update of MELA Course a. Shalon will send out a survey to access the needs of the MELA course and how it should be redesigned. 2. MSVCC Community Page Updates a. Shalon is going to create an MSVCC Community Page where staff and instructors can share resources, blogs, articles, etc.
