ASSEMBLING RACK SYSTEM

Lift rack from its storage bag by grabbing the black closure strap on open end. (See Figures 1 and 2.) Place rack on smooth surface or floor with solid surface facing up. (See Figure 2.)

Press both sides of plastic black buckle to unlock strap.

Grasp top half of rack and pull up and over to fully open rack, (See Figure 3.) Rack should be fully opened on its back with undercarriage exposed. Locate the (2) black slide locks, one on either side of the rack near hinge. Slide lock to the “Locked” position. Green “Locked” label should show fully. (Note: If lock will not slide past hinge area slightly lift center hinge area while sliding lock bar.) Lift leg assembly on one side to its fullest open position. Repeat on opposing side. IV poles are an optional accessory attached to each leg assembly by grey polymer clips. Detach and set aside. With two people, one on each end, pick up entire rack and carefully rotate (flip) the rack and set on floor. Locking the legs and feet. There are 3 locks for each leg assembly. 1 for the main leg and 2 (1 for each foot). Ensure that the leg lock slide is engaged. (See Figure 4.) Install optional IV poles are attached to each leg assembly by grey polymer clips. Locate the 2 IV poles (attached to legs unless previously removed) and place the end of pole in the 2 IV pole cups located on the top of the rack. Ensure IV poles are pushed into the bottom of the cup. Flip the IV pole hanger over the top of pole for IV bag placement. (Warning: do not exceed 20 lbs. on IV Pole hanger.) Remove the pin at the end of the rail before you slide your basket on. (See Figure 5.) There are two ways of approaching the rack. You may place the basket on a table and disconnect basket from vest by squeezing the sides of all 4 buckles OR leaning over until basket guides meet the rack and carefully slide basket on fully, then disconnect basket from vest. WARNING: You must be sure the top and bottom of the basket guides are on the rack. (See Figure 6.) To mount 3 baskets per side, slide one basket to middle leaving ends open for additional baskets. After baskets are installed onto rack place the safety rail pins into pin holes to ensure baskets cannot slide off. (See Figure 7.) Extend the (2) feet or stabilizer legs on each leg in opposing directions.
