INFLATABLE FLOTATION LOGS AND CHEST PAD

MSVLRFLT FLOTATION LOG DETAIL

TO INFLATE: Pull on the inflator tab and the 33 gram CO 2 cylinder will activate to fill the floats. Do not remove the CO 2 cylinder from the detonator until you have a replacement cylinder, as doing so will allow the float to deflate if missing. If you hear short hissing from the dump valve this is normal to protect from possible over inflation. FLOTATION LOG INSTRUCTIONS TO USE THE ORAL INFLATOR: Turn the locking ring to allow the end to be depressed. Press the rubber tip against your teeth to open the valve and blow into it. When the desired amount of air is inside the float, (approximately 5 breaths of air to fully inflate) release the inflator and secure the locking ring to prevent accidental deflation. TO DEFLATE: Press black Rubber Tip down and squeeze float until deflated. TO REPLACE C0 2 AND PREPARE FOR FUTURE DEPLOYMENT: • Move the activation detonation arm back into its upright position. • Replace the plastic breakaway pin (available from Med Sled ® ) to secure the detonator arm. • Remove old CO 2 cartridge and replace with a 33 gram C-O2 cartridge. Screw cartridge until firm, snug with fingers. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN. • Attach 4 Velcro tabs to make float smaller and tighter to the Med Sled ® . • Your Med Sled ® is ready to roll and store in the backpack. • You can take off Floats and Chest Pad and store in one of the convenient backpack pouches.
