Monica M. Tynan Regional Counsel Chicago Regional Office Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation

Monica M. Tynan was recently appointed the Regional Counsel for the Chicago Regional Office of the FDIC. Ms. Tynan moved back to Chicago from the Washington D.C. office to become the Deputy Regional Counsel in December 2017. During her tenure with the Washington D.C. office, Ms. Tynan served as Counsel in the Assessments and Legislation Unit, Enforcement Unit, and Professional Liability Unit. Ms. Tynan was also the Section Chief for the Professional Liability and Financial Crimes Section in the Midwest Temporary Satellite Office from 2010 through 2012. Before joining the FDIC, Ms. Tynan was a partner in the law firm of Quarles & Brady in Chicago where she represented clients throughout the United States in all aspects of complex commercial and product liability litigation. Ms. Tynan is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and received her law degree from Chicago Kent College of Law.
