The hotel reopened in October last year after a renovation that has seen the addition of a buzzy Japanese restaurant. The Al-Hamra Maison, complete with gardens and a heated pool, embodies Aman’s carefully pared down style with two bedrooms off a serene double-height living and dining area illuminated with just one striking aged Moroccan lantern. The dusky colors and carefully curated items (Berber carpets and shining herringbone pathways) nod in the most elegant of ways to the location in the heady city.
