London's hot new openings Spring. It’s the season of new life, new beginnings – and, it seems, new restaurant openings in London. The hottest and perhaps most anticipated is 50 Days by Albert Adrià, a pop-up offering at The Domino Room at Hotel Café Royal, led by the eponymous chef. Given that it runs until April 9, there’s still just about time to check it out. If you haven’t the inclination to beg, barter or elbow your way to the top of the waiting list for a table, head instead to Jason Atherton’s Japanese restaurant, Sosharu, that opened in Clerkenwell on March 7. Or visit Eneko Atxa’s Basque restaurant, Eneko at One Aldwych, which opens in Covent Garden this summer. Later this year look out for Damien Hirst’s reopening of his ill-fated restaurant, Pharmacy, this time in Vauxhall, alongside his new art space Newport Street Gallery, rather than its original Notting Hill setting. Our most anticipated opening is chef Shaun Rankin’s restaurant at the Flemings Hotel in Mayfair. It's just had a $20m refurbishment, so we’re expecting great things.
