LABORAL CIUDAD DE LA CULTURA, GIJÓN An excellent refurbishment has turned the former Universidad Laboral de Gijón (Asturias) into a huge, gardened, architectural complex ideal for culture, training and entrepreneurial innovation. This extraordinary limestone and gran ite building has multi-purpose rooms for staging all types of business, cultur al and social activities and events. Special mention should go to the "Sala de Pinturas" or Paintings Hall, decorated with a fresco wall painting (by the artist Enrique Segura) inspired by the Sistine Chapel, the magnifi cent church with an elliptic dome, the theatre and the Corinthian Patio. There are also a number of medium-sized rooms, as well as the Auditorium and the Clock Tower.

The excellent location in a natural envi ronment very near the sea and several golf courses makes it a fantastic option for incentive travel and team building courses.
