CIBELES PALACE, MADRID

The former Telecommunications Palace and currently the seat of Madrid's City Hall is a true, 20th-century archi tectural gem. The facilities consist of large, open, multi-purpose areas like the iconic Patio de Operaciones de Correos y Telégrafos and the fascinating Crystal Gallery, an organically-shaped glass dome with 2,000 triangular panes of glass. Below this, in the basement, there is the Caja de Música Auditorium, a modern infrastructure with magnifi cent acoustics.
