FRESHMAN (200 olidified San Diego's weekend rotation , assuming the role as the Toreros' Sunday starter in late March... Went 5-1 with a 2.51 ERA in seven WCC starts to earn AII-WCC Second Team honors at season's end ... Named the WCC Pitcher of the Week (5/2) after throwing his first complete-game of his career to help USO win the decisive game of a weekend series with San Francisco (5-1-05) .. . Allowed just 13 walks in 81 + innings... Led all Torero pitchers within conference play in wins (5), ERA (2.39) and opponent's batting average (.244)... Began the season as a spot starter and long reliever... Made nine appearances and three non– conference starts in January, February and March ... Moved into the week– end rotation after a season-ending injury to USO star Nate Boman in late March ...
