BODEGAS OLIVEROS SPAIN The recipe for this lovely, artisanal Vermouth was created by my grandfather, Juan Oliveros, who established the winery in 1940. We produce our essence from a selection of 30 botanicals which are then blended unfiltered with our Crianza sweet wine, and aged a minimum of 2 years in oak casks. The final result shows the pure beauty of fine Vermouth. All coloring and sweetness comes from the Pineau base, with the addition of 12 plants and spices, including wormwood, then barrel aged for at least one year. 92pts Ultimate spirits Challenge ‘19 La Quintinye Vermouth Royal XDry 375ml / 750ml / 34PF Made with a magnificent bouquet of 27 plants and spices, a selection of white wines and Pineau des Charentes Blanc. Dappled gold with bouquet of balanced spiced flavors, blending licorice and anise aromas. DAMILANO ITALY, PIEDMONT Damilano Wine Company is one of the oldest wineries in Barolo with historic traditions. The Damilano family business dates back to 1890 when Giuseppe Borgogno, the great grandfather of the winery’s current owners, began to vinify his own estate wines. Damilano Barolo Chinato 500ml / 33PF This is an aromatized wine produced with Barolo DOCG as a base wine which undergoes an extra oak aging period with an infusion of quinine bark (china in Italian, hence the name ‘chinato’) and some 21 other spices and herbs (e.g. rhubarb, gentian, orange peels, cloves, cardamom seeds). LACUESTA SPAIN Family owned brand since 1937. Martinez Lacuesta produces Vermut Lacuesta using only its own grapes harvested from several of its Rioja vineyards. Lacuesta Vermut Blanco 750ml / 30PF Made from 100% Airen white wine infused with 24 plants. Menthol, chamomile, and vanilla on the nose. Licorice, cinnamon, and ginger on the palate. Lacuesta Vermut Dry 750ml / 30PF Twenty plants and herbs are used in cold maceration to The botanicals herbs and aromatic plants cold-macerated in white wine are aged in American oak barrels for 3 years before being blended with a white wine base. The vermouth is then aged for another 3 months in French oak. Lacuesta Vermut Acacia Reserva 750ml / 30PF Floral and bright in fragrance, this barrel-aged vermouth (an aged expression of the standard rojo) has an engaging vinuous texture, and a gentle touch of flowers and spice on the palate. 95pts Wine Enthusiast elaborate this white vermut. The subtle combination of 18 plants and the blend of white wines and Pineau des Charentes Blanc. A color of light gold with a fresh and lively bouquet with floral and citrus aromas, which give way to succulent aromas provided by the Pineau. Elegant and smooth palate with ripe yellow fruits and brioche aromas, which meld seamlessly with slowly developing bitterness and spice. La Quintinye Vermouth Royal Rouge 375ml / 750ml / 33PF Made from a selection of 28 plants and spices and a blend of white wines and Pineau des Charentes Rouge. Deep amber red color with an intense shine. Well balanced yet powerful bouquet with licorice, prune and vanilla flavors, enveloped by chocolate notes. Rich and intense palate with caramel, burnt vanilla and warm spiced notes, which evolve to a long-lasting finish.
