Important Dates & Things To Do We know that transitioning to Guaranty Bank from Hometown Bank may seem challenging, so we’ve created this timeline and checklist to help you navigate the process every step of the way. And, we’re here to help if you have any questions or concerns. You can call toll-free or email Guaranty Bank’s customer service team at 1.833.875.2492 or customerservice@gbankmo.com.

Please Note: If you do not log into Guaranty Bank’s online or mobile banking system by July 11, your profile will be placed in dormant status. If this occurs you will need to contact Guaranty Bank at 1.833.875.2492 to re-establish access to online banking. Banking Centers and ATMs: Hometown Bank locations will be closing at 3 p.m. on Friday, June 8 and will be closed Saturday, June 9 to prepare for the conversion to Guaranty Bank. The Hometown Bank locations will re-open as Guaranty Bank on Monday, June 11. Please Note: Please note that during conversion weekend, Hometown Bank ATMs may be periodically unavailable. If you are charged a fee for using a non-Guaranty Bank ATM over the conversion weekend, please visit your nearest Guaranty Bank for a full refund. June 11, 2018 Begin using your Guaranty Bank debit or ATM card on Monday, June 11. Please Note: Your Hometown Bank debit or ATM card will be automatically disabled on Monday, June 11. If you have automatic bill payments tied to your Hometown Bank debit card, you must provide the merchant with your new Guaranty Bank debit card number as soon as possible after June 10. Automatic payments tied to your Hometown Bank debit card will be declined after June 10. June 11, 2018 Log in to your new Guaranty Bank online banking account by visiting www.gbankmo.com and clicking the Account Logins link in the upper right-hand corner of the home page. Log in to your new Guaranty Bank mobile banking by downloading the app. Search gbankmo in the app store. You will be able to access Guaranty Bank’s online banking beginning at 8 a.m. on June 11. Your online and mobile banking user name will remain the same. Your temporary password will be the last four digits of your social security number or tax ID number. Please Note: Be sure to review scheduled bill payments and transfers to ensure recurring items have accurately transferred.

May 25, 2018 If you are a current Hometown Bank debit or ATM card holder, you will receive your new Guaranty Bank debit or ATM card by mail. If you do not receive a new debit or ATM card by May 25, please call 1.833.875.2492. Please Note: You may activate your Guaranty Bank debit or ATM card by phone immediately, but don’t begin using it until Monday, June 11. You may continue to use your Hometown Bank debit or ATM card until then. Your Hometown Bank debit or ATM card and the SecurLock app will be disabled on June 11. Please update your card information with any vendor or merchant you may use for regular purchases.

June 5, 2018 Mobile Check Deposit:

Hometown’s mobile check deposit service will be disabled on June 5 at 3 p.m. You will be able to access Guaranty Bank’s mobile check deposit service beginning at 8 a.m. on June 11.

June 6-11, 2018 Online Banking, Mobile Banking and Bill Pay:

Hometown’s online bill pay will be in view-only mode starting June 6 at 6 p.m. All scheduled bill payments and transfers will process June 8 through June 10. You will be able to access Guaranty Bank’s bill pay service beginning at 8 a.m. on June 11. Your existing payee information will transfer to the new Guaranty Bank system. Review scheduled bill payments and transfers to ensure recurring items have transferred properly. Hometown’s online and mobile banking will be in disabled as of June 8 at 3 p.m. You will be able to access Guaranty Bank’s online banking beginning at 8 a.m. on June 11. Your online and mobile banking user name will remain the same. Your temporary password will be the last four digits of your social security number or tax ID number. In Guaranty Bank’s online banking system, you will have access to 12 months of online banking history and 12 months of bill pay history. You will also have 18 month of eStatement history if you receive your statements electronically. Your eStatement history will be posted to your online banking profile one month after conversion.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will my account number stay the same? Yes, your account number(s) should not change.

Are there differences between Hometown Bank and Guaranty Bank products? While there are some differences in our products, Hometown Bank and Guaranty Bank have worked hard to ensure that we continue to meet all of your banking needs. Your Hometown Bank account will remain unchanged until June 11, at which time it will be converted to the Guaranty Bank account it most closely matches. You can review the Guaranty Bank account to which your account will convert on page 5 for personal accounts and page 9 for business accounts. Can I use my old checks? Yes, you will be able to use up your existing supply of Hometown Bank checks after the conversion. When it’s time to reorder checks, please speak to a branch banker so we can help you order new Guaranty Bank checks. You can also order online at www.gbankmo.com. What happens with my direct deposit? No immediate action is required. Your direct deposits will continue to post as they normally do. After June 11, the routing/transit number for new direct deposits should be updated to 286573335. What happens to my auto debits (those which are processed electronically using my account number and routing number)? No immediate action is required. Your auto debits will continue to post as they normally do. After June 11, the routing/transit number for new auto debits should be updated to 286573335. When will I get my new debit card? Your new Guaranty Bank Visa debit/ATM card(s) will be mailed to you in May. You may activate your new card and create a PIN number by phone immediately, but don’t begin using it until Monday, June 11. In the meantime, continue to use your Hometown Bank debit card through Sunday, June 10. Please note: If you have automatic bill payments tied to your Hometown Bank debit card, you must provide the merchant with your new Guaranty Bank debit card number as soon as possible after June 10. Automatic payments tied to your Hometown Bank debit card will be declined after June 10. Will I still visit Hometown Bank’s website for my online banking needs? Once the conversion is complete, you will use www.gbankmo. com to access online banking. Please update your bookmarks and favorites accordingly.

Will I still use Hometown Bank’s mobile app for my mobile banking needs? Once the conversion is complete, you will need to delete the Hometown Bank mobile app from your device(s), and download the Guaranty Bank mobile app. What happens to my Hometown Bank personal/ business online banking? Your Hometown Bank bill pay will be in view-only mode beginning June 6 at 6 p.m. Online banking will be disabled beginning June 8 at 3 p.m. After June 10, you will no longer have access to Hometown Bank’s online banking system. Your online account and bill payment transactions will transfer to Guaranty Bank’s online banking system during conversion weekend. More details about online banking and bill pay are on page 12. Will I receive a final Hometown Bank statement? Hometown Bank will mail one final statement to you reflecting your final activity and closing balance on June 8, 2018. That same balance will be reflected on your first statement from Guaranty Bank. Will my banking hours change? On June 11, your banking center hours may change. The locations and hours are listed on page 15. Does Guaranty Bank offer telephone banking? Yes! On June 11, you will be able to access account information via Guaranty Bank’s telephone banking system. The toll-free number is 1.866.237.0724. Will there be changes to my safe deposit box access? The location of your safe deposit box will not change. Your safe deposit box will be accessible during the lobby hours listed on page 15. Does Guaranty Bank offer a toll-free number for customer support? Yes, Guaranty Bank has a customer service center to answer your questions by phone. Overdraft Privilege If your account currently receives overdraft protection, it will continue to do so. Overdraft privilege is generally limited to $600 for personal checking accounts and $1,500 for business checking accounts. Mobile Banking On Monday, June 11, please visit the Apple App Store or Google Play to download Guaranty Bank’s mobile banking app for your smart phone and tablet. With our mobile app, you can view account history and balances, pay bills, make mobile deposits and transfer funds between accounts. 24-Hour Telephone Banking Guaranty Bank’s complimentary telephone banking allows you to access your account balances and history, transfer funds, check loan payments and many other banking services. Beginning Monday, June 11, you can access Guaranty Bank’s telephone banking at 1.866.237.0724. If you are a first-time caller, your PIN will be your entire nine-digit social security number. You will be prompted to select a PIN for future use.

Please note: If you have automatic bill payments tied to your Hometown Bank debit card, you must provide the merchant with your new Guaranty Bank debit card number as soon as possible after June 10. Direct Deposits and Automatic Payments

If you currently have direct deposits or automatic payments set up with your Hometown Bank account, we will transfer these for you. To set up new direct deposits or automatic payments after June 11, 2018, please use our Guaranty Bank routing number 286573335 and your Guaranty Bank account number.

eStatements If you currently have eStatements, you will have access to 18 months of eStatement history one month after conversion. You will need to re-accept the terms and conditions when you sign into online banking through gbankmo.com for the first time. Final Statement Shortly after June 8, 2018 you will receive a special closing statement for each of your former Hometown Bank accounts. Your closing statement will cover the period from your last regular statement date through June 8, 2018 which may only be a portion of your usual statement period. Your next statement will be issued from Guaranty Bank and will cover the period from June 8 to your new statement date. Certificate of Deposit Account (CD) The term, maturity date and early withdrawal penalty on your current Hometown Bank CD will remain the same until the CD is cashed in. Safe Deposit Box If you have a Hometown Bank safe deposit box, you will have access to your box during normal business hours. See the enclosed fee schedule for pricing following converison.

Individual Retirement Account (IRA)

Effective Saturday, June 9, 2018 IRA rollovers and transfers will automatically move to the custodial care of Guaranty Bank. You do not need to take any action. This amendment does not affect the maturity date or terms of any of your investments. Please note that distributions from your account will not change from your current schedule. Loans If you have a mortgage or home equity line of credit with Hometown Bank, your current terms and conditions will remain the same. For your home equity line of credit, you can continue to use your Hometown Bank checks to access your funds. If you currently have a Hometown Bank consumer loan, your interest rate, terms and conditions will remain the same. After June 11, 2018, you can make payments by visiting any Guaranty Bank location or mail your payment to: Guaranty Bank, 2144 E. Republic Road, Suite F200, Springfield, MO 65804.
