DAY CAMPS These new day camps are a fun and safe place for your child to play outdoors this summer! Each week includes crafts, games, outdoor activities, swimming at SandVenture, free play - all around a specific theme. An email will be sent the week prior to the camp outlining activities and what campers need to bring. Campers should dress appropriately for daily activities, including tennis shoes that tie or Velcro securely. Campers should also bring a water bottle and sunscreen. Lunch is not provided; campers need to bring a lunch, beverage and a couple snacks. A refrigerator and microwave are available .Please avoid sending food that contains nuts due to possible allergies; this includes sunflower seeds. YOUTH PROGRAMS

SAFETY CAMP Shakopee Parks and Recreation, Community Education and Shakopee Police and Fire Departments are teaming up to encourage youth safety. During this one-day camp, participants will get to experience and learn about a variety of safety issues including 911, first aid, Internet safety, backpack safety and so much more! Cost includes more than 10 presentations and demonstrations, camp T-shirt, lunch and graduation certificate. A short graduation ceremony for family and friends will close out our camp at the end of the day. Please bring a chair or blanket to sit on. Youth Building, 1099 Adams St. S.
