Andy McDonald, car park team leader at The Christie, bravely took on the role of Christie Bear: “When I was asked to dress up as Christie Bear for the fun day at the Manchester Printworks, I was so proud. I speak to patients and visitors all day in my role as car park supervisor and appreciate what a difference the fundraising has on our Trust’s ability to treat patients. I won’t lie, the costume was so very hot and on a day which seemed to be the hottest day of the year, but I thoroughly enjoyed meeting people and being part of the ‘Christie team’.” The charity team is always looking for people to take on the role of Christie Bear.
