Recompense Fund News

The Recompense Fund is looking forward to receiving applications from our nonprofits this year. The deadline for final applications is May 31st. This year, we are offering a preliminary

review option if your grant is submitted to us by May 15th. This gives you an opportunity for feedback and revision. After May 31 st , grants will be reviewed and decisions will be made by June 16 th . On July 6 th , we invite all Chebeaguers to the Niblic from 3-5 p.m. for refreshments and presentations of the 2019 grants awarded to our nonprofits. This is an opportunity to hear their stories and learn more about how their work creates sustainability in our island community. Important Dates: May 15, 2019 - Preliminary application review submittal May 31, 2019 - Final application submittal July 6, 2019 - 3 p.m. at the Niblic - Celebration with grant recipients Our “Next Generation” of funders are excited about our new Recompense Fund Instagram account. We hope you will become friends with Instagram “recompensefund” as we share photos and stories of Chebeague. The Recompense Fund is dedicated exclusively to Chebeague.
