Continuing with this example (now that MARCIE has signed-in as the decision maker for the Purchasing Department), MARCIE is able to review the EC records that are still waiting in the GROUP REVIEW STATE. As MARCIE approves the EC records (that are still missing the Purchasing Department’s approval from their GROUP REVIEW STATE), the expected information is recorded and visible from the EC record’s [ WORKFLOW_EVENT_LOG ] grid. If configured, the environment will automatically update the relative EC record’s fields with the “signed-in” decision makers’ names from the GROUP REVIEW STATE approval process:

If all the required signatures from the GROUP REVIEW STATE have been captured, then the EC record will be approved out of the GROUP REVIEW STATE

Alternatively, it would also be possible for one or more of the GROUP REVIEW decision makers to get ahead of the other decision makers (perhaps they knew that they are going to take a week of vacation and will obviously miss the regularly schedule review meetings). The decision maker would comply with the noted tasks exactly as outline above (but this time it would be before the scheduled meetings instead of after the scheduled meetings).
