The "old-timers" at the Cathedral still hark back to Father Brady, the kindliness of his heart, the catholicity of his affection, his assiduous care of the sick. When in 1922, Pope Pius XI conferred on Father Brady the high rank of Domestic Prelate and Prothonotary Apostolic, to share the honors of the Sovereign Pontiff's household, priests and people manifested sincere joy.
