County lacks adequate high school facilities for boys and girls. It is our plain duty to give to the youth of these parts a well- balanced academic course, where both faith and morals blend with learning. While the University Foundation Fund cannot commit itself to build a high school in Imperial County, it endeavors to at least formulate plans in an effort to encourage the realization of this need.

First units of Rockne Institute now under construction.

ANY a boy, distinterested and discouraged in high school, finds him- self in learning a technical art. Carpenters, plumbers, electricians, cooks and other useful craftsmen will be trained under expert men- tors and in uplifting environs. Rockne Institute will combine the attractions of a Boys Town with the ad- vantages of a Technical Arts School.
