PURCHASING METHODOLOGY WITHIN SAINT-GOBAIN Understand the Purchasing Organization within Saint Gobain, learn how to apply the specific rules, find out about the tools, understand the necessary controls and the 6 steps of Purchasing; from analysing business needs to implementing agreements.

OBJECTIVES

• To understand the Saint-Gobain Purchasing Organization and the World Class Purchasing vision. • To learn and apply the Saint-Gobain Purchasing Methodology • To gain an overview of the purchasing e-tools • To implement the SG Purchasing Methodology through the standard 6-step purchasing process • To transfer the lessons learned into daily use

PARTICIPANTS

Newcomers in operational or strategic Purchasing (with >3 years seniority in role). Advanced purchasers involved in day-to-day purchasing.

• 2 days • Face-to-face session • 6-16 participants • Attendance sheets and online course evaluation form • Organised by local purchasing director at Delegation level
