whose damage is especially dangerous

This applies to organs where loss of a
small
amount of tissue
would produce a
severe
clinical manifestation

A PRV is relevant for an OAR with serial organisation (almost
exclusively)
•
Spinal cord
•
Brain stem
•
Optic pathway
•
A PRV is
not
the same as a plan optimising volume
