Who Can You Cover?

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

You are eligible for the City of Sunnyvale benefits program if you are a regular full-time or part-

time employee working at least 21 hours per week.

After your initial benefits enrollment, unless you experience a qualifying life event, you cannot

make mid-year changes in your elections, or add or drop dependents until the next Open

Enrollment period.

Please refer to the

When You Can Make Changes

section for mid-year qualifying life event

triggers that may allow you to change plans, or dependents.
