Subject: 2017 Sewer System Master Plan – Draft Report
Dear Karl:
We are pleased to submit the draft report for the City of Morgan Hill Sewer System Master
Plan. This master plan is a standalone document, though it was prepared as part of the
integrated infrastructure master plans for the water, sewer, and storm drainage master plans.
The master plan documents the following:
x Existing collection system facilities, acceptable hydraulic performance criteria, and
projected wastewater flows consistent with the Urban Planning Area
x Development and calibration of the City’s GIS-based hydraulic sewer model.
x Capacity evaluation of the existing sewer system with improvements to mitigate existing
deficiencies and to accommodate future growth.
x Capital improvement program (CIP) with an opinion of probable construction costs and
suggestions for cost allocations to meet AB 1600.
x Morgan Hill-Gilroy Joint Trunk Analysis/Evaluation
