NQT Appropriate Body
(AB) Service
High quality national induction
support for your Newly Qualified
Teachers.
The appointment of an Appropriate Body (AB)
is a statutory requirement for the NQT induction
process. The AB monitors each NQT’s induction
through termly assessments and makes the final
recommendation to the National College for
Teaching and Leadership (NCTL) as to whether
an NQT has met the Teachers’ Standards
(following the school’s recommendation).
In addition to the legal administration and
assessment ratification process, our NQT
induction service comprises guidance on
all areas concerning NQT induction, quality
assurance of induction processes and
professional support for schools and NQTs.
We have a strong reputation for high quality
NQT induction. Hundreds of NQTs receive the
support they need each year to ensure they
have the best possible start to their careers,
both in the UK and overseas.
To augment our AB service, we offer remote
training options for your NQTs and mentors
through webinars and Skype. We can
also provide bespoke training for MATs/
school clusters.
