Town Center Commercial (TCC) District
Intent
The standards in this subsection are intended to establish a strong presence at the intersection of
Morrisville-Carpenter Road and Chapel Hill Road, a key gateway to the Historic Crossroads
Village District, and along each corridor in the Town Center.
Drive-Through Facilities
a.
Location
Drive-through facilities shall not be located adjacent to Morrisville-Carpenter Road or Chapel
Hill Road. (See Figure
5.9.10.D.2:Site Layout and Building Organization – Town Center
Commercial District.)
b.
Screening
Drive-through facilities shall be screened in accordance with the standards for perimeter
landscaping of vehicle use areas in Section
5.12.4.C, Perimeter Landscaping.Building Organization
a.
Buildings shall be organized to frame the intersection of Morrisville-Carpenter Road and
Chapel Hill Road.
b.
Multi-story buildings are encouraged and shall be concentrated adjacent to the intersection of
Morrisville-Carpenter Road and Chapel Hill Road when provided. (See Figur
