Notes:
[1] The same angle shall be used along the full length of one side of a parking bay, though different angles may be
used on each side of a double-loaded parking bay.
[2] With the exception of parallel parking spaces, the width of a parking space shall not exceed 12 feet.
[3] Where a space includes a wheel stop, the length of the space shall be increased by 1.5 feet.
[4] Where the angle is other than 90 degrees or 0 degrees (parallel), the drive aisle shall be designed for one-way
traffic.
[5] A greater aisle width may be necessary to Fire Prevention Code requirements.
[6] Where each side of a double loaded parking bay uses different parking space/drive aisle angles, the drive
aisle shall comply with the greater applicable minimum drive aisle width standard.

[9] The width of a two-way drive aisle shall not exceed 30 feet.
