Quincy Marketplace

Quincy Market is a historic
market complex near Faneuil
Hall. Quincy Market is two
stories tall and covers about
27,000 square feet. It’s one of
Boston’s most visited tourist
attractions and is popular with
those who work in the area
as a great place for a quick
but tasty lunch. Seventeen
restaurants and pubs can be
found at the marketplace,
including a few upscale
restaurants and plenty of fast
food. Many peddle souvenirs
and other trinkets while others
offer items by talented local
artisans. Entertainment at the
restaurants and in the outdoor
areas is common and can be
enjoyed nearly all day long,
especially on the weekends in
the summer months.
Faneuil Hall

Faneuil Hall is sometimes referred
to as the Cradle of Liberty, it is
located near the waterfront and
Government Center in Boston.
Faneuil Hall is a well known stop
on the FreedomTrail.The ground
floor contains shops and eating
establishments.The second floor
is a meeting room.The third floor
contains the museum and armory of
the Ancient and Honorable Artillery
Company of Massachusetts. Faneuil
Hall Marketplace also includes three
long granite buildings called North
Market, South Market, and Quincy
Market. It operates as an indoor/
outdoor mall and food eatery.
