The PLUS centre is located in
the University of Greenwich,
Chatham Campus, based at
Chatham Maritime, near the
historic Chatham Dockyard.
The university is a secure
environment consisting of
Edwardian red-brick buildings,
world-class teaching, living
and sporting facilities and a
lot of green areas. The campus
offers a good mix of social and
leisure facilities with nearby
restaurants, cafes, shops and
bars. There is very easy access
to the town centre (25 minutes
walk or 10 minutes bus ride)
which is home to a shopping
centre with lots of restaurants,
cafes and entertainment spots.
There is also a train station in
the town centre which offers
direct trains to Central London.
Medway is located in the
south east of England around
60 kilometres from Central
London. The area consists of
five smaller towns - Strood,
Rochester, Gillingham, Rainham
and Chatham. The nearest
railway station, Chatham, links
Medway to Central London
in just 40 minutes. Medway
is a vibrant destination
with a variety of attractions
nearby including the famous
Rochester, Upnor and Leeds
Castles, Rochester Cathedral,
Chatham Historic Dockyard
and the Museum of Royal
Engineers, to bustling street
festivals and international
sporting events. There are
many green areas, parks,
restaurants, pubs and cinemas.
The buildings are mostly brick
houses and Victorian and offer
a truly British experience.

The accommodation buildings
are modern brick structures with
3-4 floors.The accommodation
is apartment style with each
group consisting of 5-8 rooms
and a kitchen. Surrounding the
accommodation blocks are
beautiful gardens and cemented
pathways lines with tall plants.
