Twickenham is situated in
south west London on the
River Thames, about 15 km
from the centre of London. It
is a leafy area surrounded by
ancient buildings and modern
houses. Twickenham is full of
attractive tree-lined residential
streets with a wide variety of
cafes, pubs and restaurants. It
has a vibrant town centre with
a range of shops selling items
such as antiques, unique gifts,
books, jewellery and designer
goods. The area is popular
for the famous Twickenham
Stadium - the largest rugby
venue in the world. It is well
connected to central London
by rail in just 35 minutes. The
town centre is 15-minute walk
from the campus and is a
perfect location for a relaxing
afternoon.
The Plus centre is a secure
campus located at St. Mary’s
University. It has a mix of
historic and modern buildings
surrounded by extensive sports
grounds. The focal point of
the campus is Strawberry
Hill House - a 300 year-old
elegant house that resembles
a fairytale castle. The Plus
campus provides students
with modern Sports centre
and a variety of pitches and
courts. The main train station,
Strawberry Hill is only a
5-minute walk away from
campus. There is also a bus
stop just outside the campus
gates.
