A chance to experience a bit

of the country in the city.

Visitors can take part in seasonal

gardening demonstrations,

see cows, sheep, chickens, pigs

and ponies, greet the goats

in the goat contact yard and enjoy

interactive learning stations

in the Main Barn.The Main Barn

is filled with interactive exhibits

for guests of all ages. Eggsplore

the Nest invites guests to

experience “hatching out”

of an oversized egg. The Farming

& Weather station lets guests

experience the rush of a tornado,

the crackle of lightning and the

rumble of thunder. The Dairy Barn

houses goats and cows, where

visitors can learn about the milking

process. At the heart of the Farm,

the seasonal Edible Garden invites

kids to experience hands-on

lessons on the origins of food.

Upon its unveiling the Abraham

Lincoln statue was called

“the most important achievement

American sculpture has yet

produced,” The original statue

is in Lincoln Park in Chicago,

and several replicas have been

installed in other places around

the world. The sculpture depicts

a contemplative Lincoln rising from

a chair, about to give a speech.
