Ha’penny Bridge opened in
tCong is one of the most beautiful
and picturesque villages in Ireland
surrounded by The Quiet Man film
locations, Connemara countryside,
nestled between Lough Mask
and Lough Corrib, just 24 miles
from Galway. Cong is known for
its underground streams that
connect Lough Corrib with Lough
Mask to the north. It was also
the home of Sir WilliamWilde,
historian and father to prominent
playwright, novelist, poet, and
short story writer Oscar Wilde.
