Galway is a charming harbour
city located on the West

seaside destination with a

centre and beautiful beaches.
Galway is said to be the safest
city in Ireland and is famous for
various festivals and cultural
events which take place
throughout the year. The city
also has medieval cobbled
streets which contrast with its
modern architecture. The city’s
hub is Eyre Square, a popular
meeting spot surrounded by
international shopping outlets
and traditional pubs. Nearby,
the Latin Quarter offers
colourful buildings, restaurants,
cafes and boutiques. Galway is
a perfect location to explore
the nearby Aran Islands and it
is also close to Ireland’s most
visited natural attraction, the
Cliffs of Moher.
The Plus centre is at the
National University of Ireland
Galway which is situated
along the banks of the River
Corrib and a short 15-minute
walk from the city centre. It
combines both ivy-covered
medieval and modern glass
buildings as well as extensive
sports facilities. The campus

of the campus called Corrib Village.
