Figure 2.3.4 shows the prevalence of the population's top 10 chronic diseases relative to the Verscend Commercial

Norm benchmark values. Diseases with a factor difference less than 1, labeled in green, have lower prevalence than

the Verscend norm, while diseases labeled in red have higher prevalence. A high prevalence relative to the norm

means that the high cost in claims is in part driven by intrinsic population disease burden, which can be addressed

by Disease and Wellness Management programs.
