From the Editor…
The weather has warmed up and the water levels are high, what a great
combination.
A number of members from NCYC and DYC recently traveled to Lexington,
Michigan for the 4
th
of July Celebration. It was a pretty smooth ride most of the
journey, with water depths marking up to 3 ft. above charted lake levels.
It was a picture-perfect vacation with temperatures in the 80’s and clear blue
sky's. The weekend even started off with a spectacular fireworks display on
Friday night and a parade Saturday morning.
The activities made for a wonderful holiday weekend, to accompany the long-
awaited summer season.
