Forty-six per cent of the offshore workforce in 2015 were classed as core workers, defined as those who spend

more than 100 nights offshore. Although the number of core personnel last year was 3 per cent lower than in 2014

(875 workers less), the ratio of core to non-core workers was one per cent higher.
