From the Editor…
You will see a theme in this month’s Beacon articles that speaks to our
members stepping up and helping out when times had gotten busy on the
Island over the past few weekends. The recent July weekends were short
many assigned workers, and without request, our present members jumped
right in to fill in the gaps and volunteer to lend a helping hand where needed.
I can personally vouch for this, as I was one of the assigned OD’s in July that
witnessed this. The Flag and Board of Directors would like to say ‘thank you’ to
all those members that stepped in to help out!
