Reminder
Effective January 1, 2011, all vehicles 1995 and newer will always require a Title in the State of Maine.
When registering a vehicle, you must have proof of insurance for the vehicle that is being registered. The
Town of Buxton charges $2 for copies of insurance cards which are faxed to the Town Office.
The Town of Buxton has become part of the Rapid Renewal Service (RRS), Maine’s online vehicle
registration system sponsored by the Office of the Secretary of State.
