EDITOR’S LETTER

L

et’s face it, the best way to watch TV shows is on DVD or

Blu-ray. No constant disruption from noisy commercial

breaks. No danger of your favourite show being relegated

to a 1am time-slot because the ratings didn’t live up to expectations.

And you get to see exactly what you want to watch, when want to

watch it, without having to wade through a whole lot of other shows

that you have no real interest in seeing but have to pay for anyway.

So it’s good to have

Sons Of Anarchy

on the front cover this month:

as with many long-running series, it’s had its ups and downs, but

with a final series now just around the corner, the sixth season is a

cracker. As well as being our DVD of the Month, overleaf we have a

bit of news about

SOA

creator Kurt Sutter’s new TV creation

The

Bastard Executioner.

Elsewhere in the May edition of

STACK

, there

are features on the hit musical

Into The Woods

, the eagerly

anticipated

Witcher III: Wild Hunt

and the Farrelly Brothers’ return to

Dumb and Dumber

, along with interviews with Mumford & Sons and

Anika Moa, and much more. Enjoy!
