Description
The EPDM diaphragm currently used in the product cylinder is replaced by a
Teflon expansion joint. The phenomenon of taste transfer occurs particularly with
energy drinks.
EPDM and other elastomers pick up the ingredients of these products and then
release them when other (more neutral in taste) products are subsequently filled.
Teflon does not have this property.
