Established in 1996, Holocaust

Museum Houston is exempt from

federal income tax under section

501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue

Code. The Internal Revenue Service

has classified the Museum as a

Section 509(a)(1) publicly supported

charity. Holocaust Museum Houston

strives to adhere to the highest

standards of financial management,

and the result is a healthy balance

sheet that allows the Museum to

consistently provide for programs

and initiatives important to our

community.

Holocaust Museum Houston is one

of only four Houston-area museums

to be accredited by the American

Alliance of Museums.
