Certified Measurement and
Verification Professional (CMVP
®
)

An AEE international certification qualifi-
cation programme that covers protocols,
methodologies and tools to quantify and
manage the performance risks and benefits
associated with end-use energy efficiency,
renewable energy and water efficiency in
compliance with international and local
standards, legislation and regulations in
accordance with the International Perfor-
manceMeasurement & Verification Protocol
(IPMVP) and Efficiency Valuation Organisa-
tion (EVO) requirements. IPMVP provides a
consistent, reliable approach to M&V that
is recognised world-wide. Course syllabus
presents the basics required for SANAS
M&V Professionals and for registration with
the Measurement and Verification Council
of South Africa (MVCSA). Voluntary examina-
tion may be taken to apply for international
Certification.
There is no pre-requisite to attend any of
the AEE training programmes – all levels of
knowledge are welcome as these training
sessions are very educational. However,
there is the option to gain an international
qualification from AEE training which has
eligibility requirements.
Training rates advertised include the
training with the examination already,
however, should you wish to only attend for
interest sake enquire about our reduced
rate for those who DO NOT want to write
the examination.
