CHARITY
The Executive Board wanted to give back to local communities and began supporting
a local charity in 2017. For the 2018 conference, FCIAAO partnered with Help Now of
Osceola, Inc. Help Now provides temporary, safe shelter for survivors of domestic
abuse facing imminent danger as well as providing quality domestic abuse advocacy
to shelter clients and their children. We held a 50/50 raffle and the proceeds that went
to Help Now totaled $1,792. We also collected toiletries to be donated.
