Medulloblastoma - Clinical presentation
- Typical midline location, arising in the vermis, causing IVth ventricle
compression (symptoms and signs of raised intracranial pressure)
- In infants increase in head circumference, bulging of the fontanelles
- Hemispheric location more common in very young children and
adults (lateralising difficulties with coordination: ataxia and
dysmetria)
