The Open Kitchen is a food market

where you can experience the

delights of freshly cooked food

prepared by different Slovenian

chefs right there in front of you,

on the market stalls. Each Friday,

the market features around thirty

different food providers, including

modern restaurants, traditional

‘gostilnas’, tourist farms, and

independent chefs wanting to

promote their offerings.

In case of bad weather, the market

may be cancelled.

old town centre of Kamnik, includes

costumed processions featuring folk

costumes of various regions of Slovenia

and other countries.

Medieval Day - living history event

The Medieval Day, conceived as an

openair living history event, will

try to evoke an authentic medieval

atmosphere in the midst of the historical

city centre of Ljubljana. Stalls at a

medieval fair will be selling medieval

objects, food, and drinks.
