WireCo WorldGroup has announced that
its interim chairman and interim chief
executiveofficer, James (Jim) O’Leary, has
assumed the role of executive chairman
and chief executive officer. Mr O’Leary
will continue to serve as chairman on the
WireCo board of directors.
Mr O’Leary previously served as chairman
and chief executive officer of Kaydon
Corporation, prior to which he held
leadership roles at Beazer Homes, US
Industries, and Hanson PLC. He holds a
master of business administration degree
from the Wharton School of the University
of Pennsylvania and a bachelor of
business administration degree from Pace
University.
Kosty Gilis, a managing director of Onex,
said: “We are thrilled that Jim will be
joining WireCo as its new chairman and
chief executive officer. We have known
and worked with Jim for a number of years
and believe that his experience running
a leading global industrial products
company, which served a diverse range
of end-markets, makes him superbly
qualified to lead and grow WireCo in the
coming years.”
