This weekend the wire and cable industry makes a move

to Atlanta, Georgia, for Interwire – the largest and longest-

running exhibition in North America for our industry.

What follows is a week of debuting new machinery, talking

with old friends and making new ones at the Georgia

World Congress Center with exhibitors, speakers and visitors

heading into town from more than 50 countries.

fiber optic cable system between Argentina and Brazil.

Seaboard Networks and Grupo Werthein have announced

their agreement to build the APBR system. It will be a four-

fiber pair system with an initial maximum design capacity of

48Tb per second and an expected completion date in the
