For 25 years, Gauder Group Inc, the North
American branch of the Gauder Group,
has built knowledge, experience and
ability to serve the wire and cable industry.
Pourtier and Setic, the French members of
the group, are experienced in designing
and manufacturing rotating machines for
ferrous and non-ferrous cable, offering a
wide range of twisting/stranding solutions
to cable makers. In the USA, the product
range is marketed under “Pourtier & Setic
of America”.
Pourtier: The line of equipment includes
rigid and planetary stranders, single twist
cablers and drum twisters for producing
all types of power cable (low, medium,
high and extra high voltage underground,
overhead conductors and submarine/
umbilical), as well as signal/instrumentation
and large communication cable.
Pourtier recently extended its range with
tubular stranders, skip stranders and bow
cablers.
On the booth will be a high-speed
tangential taping head.
Setic: Double twist bunchers/cablers for
low and medium voltage power cable
and the automotive industry, as well as
a complete range of machines for the
production of all types of data and special
cables with enhanced performances.
The company’s offer is strengthened to
include small single twist cablers and large
double twist cablers/stranders.
