make additional academic assignments prior to determining whether to

award the verified credit.

The decision of the review panel will be final.

SCHEDULE CHANGES

Every effort to accommodate the course selections of each student is made. Students are

encouraged to make their course selections and alternative selections carefully. Schedule

changes must be done within the first three (3) days of school, require parental permission,

conference with a counselor, and possibly permission of the school administration.

CHEATING

Students are expected to perform honestly on schoolwork and tests. The following

actions are prohibited:

cheating on a test or assigned work by giving, receiving, offering and/or

soliciting information

plagiarizing by copying the language, structure, idea and/or thoughts of

another

falsifying statements on any assigned schoolwork, tests or other school

documents

TEXTBOOKS

Students are issued textbooks at no charge. The student is, however, responsible for paying

for lost books or those damaged or worn beyond normal wear. The charge is determined by

the number of years remaining before textbook adoption occurs for that discipline.

LIBRARY/MEDIA CENTER

All members of the student body and staff are entitled to the services of the library.

Library services include:

1. Borrowing materials

2. Use of materials in the library

3. Inter-library loans

Library loans

1. All materials to be used outside the library are to be checked out through the circulation

desk computer.

2. The person who checked out the material must be the one to return it to the circulation

desk.

3. Materials normally restricted to library use only (reference books, magazines) may be

checked out overnight. These must be returned by 8:30 a.m. the next morning.

4. All checked out materials need to be returned to the library and placed in the book drop.

5. Current magazines are normally for use in the library only. Articles in these can be

copied for a charge of fifteen cents per page. Back issues may be checked out through

the circulation desk.
