AUGUST 2017 CHEBEAGUE ISLAND COUNCIL CALENDAR
The Recompense Fund
The Recompense Fund Board invites you to join us
at our Community Pizza Picnic on Sunday August
6 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Chebeague Island
School. We’ll be firing up the school’s famous
outdoor wood oven to churn out delicious pizzas
for all who come.
Invite family, friends, and guests to join you.
The fund is stoking the oven and providing the
picnic. Just bring along your lawn chair or picnic
blanket. We’ll be celebrating the fund’s 2017
awards to Chebeague nonprofits, honoring the
accomplishments of our 2016 grantees, and
recognizing the fund’s dedicated donors.
It takes a whole community of volunteers and
friends to keep the island thriving year-round.
Time to celebrate!
