School and graduated
from North Surry High
School in 1998. Upon graduation, Mrs.
Hodges attended Meredith College and
Surry Community College to obtain an
Associate Degree in Arts. After obtaining an
Associate's degree from Surry Community
College, she attended Lees-McCrae
College to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Arts
in Elementary Education. She attended
Appalachian State University and earned
a Master’s Degree in Reading in 2005. She
taught first grade at Copeland Elementary
School for three years, first and third grade
at Cedar Ridge Elementary School for ten
years. She earned Cedar Ridge Teacher of
the Year in 2005-2006 and earned National
Board Certification in Literacy in 2008. She
received her License in Real Estate in March
2017. She is very excited to start this new

Willie Hodges. They have one son, Kaymen,
