They will say there is no other way and you’ll be forgiven, but the scriptures
say the opposite.
Remember, Jesus drove the money changers [merchants] out of the temple
[church] to express a point, and referred to those in authority as hypocrites.
They defiled His Father’s house with their evil practices, and forced those
who desired to be faithful to participate. It may be said that the same is true
today, and His words are perfectly applicable. Money in the temple was the
mark of the beast then, and money [economics] is a primary mark of the
beast today. He drove the moneychangers out for a special reason, and that
reason is precisely applicable today.
